In Macbeth, Lady Macbeth calls out Macbeth, telling him he's a wimp because he won't kill the king. Stuff like this happens all of the time in real life. Every day someone does something that they don't want to because their peer tells them to or calls them names in order to. 99% of the time this is done it is bad. The person usually has enough intelligence to not do it but the peer antagonizes them and makes the person do it. This is really stupid. The antagonizer is usually the wimp themselves and/or wants to make the other person feel miserable.
I would love to tell you a great story about how I did something that my friend told me to do and how I learned from that, but, I can't. I have never done something that I didn't want to do because a peer was making fun of me because I wasn't going to do it. I have never fought anyone because a crowd was cheering, or drove really fast because the people in my car wanted me to, nor have I ever purposely offended someone because my friend told me I would be a chicken if I didn't. Sorry to shatter your dreams but that's not me.
I see this kind of thing all of the time. I can't go a single day without seeing someone do something because their friend(s) was making fun of them. Peers have a big influence on us, as we do them. We can't make them stop but if you can offend them in a way that they don't even realize it, then they may stop doing that to you. Or you could simply have some will power and say "No!." People aren't like that anymore though so it's hard. I can understand why we can't think for ourselves.... Because we're a bunch of wimps. We can't do anything on our own. We have no will power to do anything that is pertinent.

Macbeth
Basically in Macbeth so far Macbeth and Banquo have run into 3 witches and they told Macbeth that hwe was to be king. Banquo got angry and demanded that the witches tell him what he is to become. The witches tell him he is to be the father of kings and greater and happier than Macbeth. To Macbeth this kind of made since. Only because he was already on the right path. He had become the Thane of Cawdore at this point (but he didn't know it yet).
After all of this happens Macbeth and Banquo go back to what is now Scotland to meet with the king. The king tells Macbeth that he is the Thane of Cawdore. Macbeth gets caught up in the joy of this and decides to get home as fast as he can. He gets home and his wife is reading a letter. Macbeth and his wife talk and then learn that the king is going to dine at their home. Lady Macbeth (Macbeth's wife) tells Macbeth that he should kill the king. They get in a big fight but in the end Macbeyh agrees.
